let me get this over and done with before the beginning of a brand new hectic week.

attended my ex boss' baby's baby shower (?) yesterday with my team mates

baby chloe is kinda cute :)

afterwhich, i met up with some of the lengkuns for dinner at swiss culture, drinks at red dot brewery (something like that) @ dempsey, and ended the night with ktv session with fang & eddie.

fang and i were trying to be retarded while eddie attempts to mesmerise us with his oh-so-awesome singing. haha!

im not sure why, but my right shoulder/neck area has been hurting for weeks now. there're simply too many problems (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and whatever lys u can think of) as we age lah. URGH.

OH and i nearly ended off this entry without mentioning what happened today!!!!!

gc and i were on our way home after bringing the puppies for their first vaccination at mount pleasant. buffy being the unreasonable and demanding bitch (haha KIDDING!) took my passenger seat in front, leaving poor me and the babies at the back.

right, let's just say gc was driving at a relatively fast speed for a 2-lane road at toa payoh gawd knows lorong what. as we passed by a (she claims it's catholic, i claim it's christian) church, a motherfucking toyato harrier crashed into us. (note: we were on the outter lane and she was turning out from the church).

me being in the backseat had the awful "privilege" of witnessing the entire scenario because the motherfucking toyota harrier (let's call it MFTH) crashed onto where i was seated! had it been at a faster speed, i would have been dead, or least injured for sure!

so both cars moved to the side of the road which we shouldnt have, duh! but i guess there wasnt much of a choice given that it was a 2-lane road and stopping right at the scene would have caused a huge conjestion. okay anyway, i got down the car, all worked and fired up, yet shivering a little, took a deep breath and asked the MFTH driver "what were you doing?!?!"

well she then tried to argue her way saying we cut into her lane yada yada, and that it's not entirely her fault, yada yada, some indian woman told her the road is clear to turn out yada yada.... EVEN IF the road was clear, it should have been HER lane, she should have turned out into HER lane, not fucking ours!!

okay before gc annouces to the whole world what i said to her, i might as well broadcast it now. as the MFTH driver tried to deny her way through and turn the tables around, i sorta raised my voice at her telling her SHE came into our lane and it was prolly a wide turn and whatnot. okay, not funny right? but guess what? i called her DOOD. i was like, "DOOD, u came into OUR lane.... blah blah blah."

i have no idea why i called her that seriously, but thinking back now, it was kinda embarrassing cause in her 40's or so, with her 2 primary school kids in the car, the MFTH driver was calm and collected - well not exactly, but definitely more so than i am, while i was being a hysterical bitch most of the time. but hey, if u were in a similar position where u could have been injured and crippled or even dead, i dont think u would keep ur cool as well. AND it's not like every other day that i get into a car accident what!

so anyway, they exchanged contact details and stuff while i took pictures of the damage done to both cars. oh prior to that, the MFTH driver tried to call some people for help, while gc dialled for her mum who works in a car insurance company (how convenient hor?).

we suffered a reasonably-sized dent and some scratches at the left rear

while the MFTH only tainted a bit of our paint which can be easily removed im sure - no dents at all lor! KNN.

so from the pics, u tell me whose fault lah?!

gc's mum said there's NO CASE at all in accordance to BOLA (no idea what it stands for).

so yeah, MFTH driver, u wait for ur insurance premium to increase next year lor.

okay, im going to bed.
