yesterday was my last day at work before my block leave commences and so my colleagues decided to throw me a "surprise" advanced birthday celebration during tea time. why's surprise in inverted commas? because on wednesday, dear sharon asked for my preference of cake. -_-

well anyways, thank you all for taking the effort to throw me a party, and of course the vouchers and bday card filled with well wishes which is especially sweet, because come to think of it, besides my sis, no one else really writes me a card on my birthday. how sad!

so yep, i'm officially on leave and no one from work is supposed to bug me during this short stint as it is against the bank's policy to get involved in any form of work during the compliance leave. hehehe. sharon suggested i should go take up part time job during this 2 weeks, and earn some more pocket money, since we're getting paid peanuts. this (imaginary) part time job may even pay more than what we're getting now. hahahhaah.
