i nearly cried sitting at one of the tables at bedok 85 hawker centre last night.
actually i think i did tear a little due to shock plus overwhelming emotions.
we all know bedok 85 is famous for its bah chor mee, so EASON CHUA ordered a bowl for me. then, while i was happily anticipating my dinner, i was told the bah chor mee there only comes in soup form. WTF?! who eats soupy bah chor mee u tell me?!?!?!? hello? soupy stuff are like for sick people?? well, sick as in ill, not psychotic.... so yah, i had to finish the disgusting soupy thing since i dont really have the habit of wasting food. erm, not very true also.
yah so my point is, all the while i've been fooled! like the ignorant workers who got fooled by the fooling model! like them who thought the increase in their wage is actually an increase in their real wage not knowing that prices have actually risen, i got fooled thinking that the damn raved about bah chor mee in bedok 85 is dry and nice! i even told EASON to mix my mee with chili and ketchup. sighs. i think i think too much..
anyways the ah balling there is the best lar! only the peanut ones though. they're so chewy and bouncy and each bite you take, the peanut flows smoothly out.. and together with the almond soup, puuuuurrrrfect. it's absolutely heaven-sent :D
i've been eating so much lately that i've put on like 1-2kgs. SIGHS.
