i had a dream last night.
a dream that got me pondering over breakfast earlier.
i dreamt that i
was an air stewardess.
except that i wasn't really, cause half the dream took place in an mrt?!
it was weird, but it sure felt hella real.
it set me thinking how life would be now if i really
am one.
what would have happened if i went for the interview last year (and got selected)?
for one, i wouldnt be blogging now. prolly shopping my arse off at frankfurt, or sitting at a cafe along the river in rome, sipping freshly-brewed italian coffee. hmmmmmm...
(erm, not taking the time difference into consideration that is..)
wouldnt it be nice?
then again, my sister was telling me her colleague's worked as a stewardess for 10 years before finally becoming a secretary.
ermmmm.. so much for career prospects huh?
air-stewardess is a cool job, in terms of interaction, opportunities to explore the world, and of course, the easy and good money. but i guess i'm someone who thinks long term? or so i hope.
then it got me thinking again..
st joseph's has produced 4 types of girls/women.
1. 1/3 of the graduates became air-stewardess
2. 1/3 flocked to SIM after doing badly in jc, in attempt to get a degree
3. 1/6 are normal working adults
4. the remaining 1/6 got themselves pregnant and are married now
hahaha.
okay, that's bad statistics.
it's just me having too much thoughts on a thunder-storming thursday afternoon.
-
on a totally irrelevant note,
FIFA WORLD CUP 2006!!!!
im so rooting for these teams, and here's why:
1.
s.korea -
like hello?? it shouldnt be news by now that i love korea!2.
portugal -
with cuties like cristiano, luis, deco, and ricardo, how can u not support the team?!3.
brazil -
simply cause they're good.4.
england -
NO!! not old beckham! but the bro-in-law-to-be's english lar, gotto support. lol. still thinking if i should support japan (not like it matters), cause firstly, they're representing asia, and if an asian like me doesnt support them, who will? and more importantly - their players are pretty cute.. even cuter than those gong-gong looking ones from korea.
teeheehee!
