THE DA VINCI CODE
the book - read it.
might as well not, cause by now i've already forgotten 60% of the content.
the movie - watched it.
my full anticipation of the movie turned out to be quite a drag.
those who did not read the book might not understand what the heck's going on. those who read it might find it a tad disappointing.
what do you expect?
ron howard crammed the 593 pages book into a bloody 2.5 hours movie!
everything was cut short or removed - just like
hp & the goblet of fire.
i could barely sit still.
was fidgetting throughout the entire movie.
well of course im not gonna discredit the movie entirely.
my advice is to first read the book, get the gist of it, watch the movie, and read the book again. that's what im doing. at least im getting a clearer picture of the story now. prior to the movie, it was all profound and MORE profound terms that i never came across in my life.
and oh, audrey tautou (sophie neveu) looks like a mix of catherine zeta jones and hk actress rosamund kwan.
