i seriously have no idea why i'm stressing the balls outta myself at work even during the last 2 weeks here. i should be slacking, blog-reading, net-surfing, drinking coffee at starbucks, having 2 hours of lunch, chatting with colleagues from other departments, hogging the phone, and yea, u get the drift, but NO, i'm not realising any of the above cause i am so darn bussssssyyyy. SIGHS. i'm sucha responsible worker.
well anyways, orientation yesterday. it was aiight, more like an enrolment than anything else. and enrolment alone took like 1.5 hours? by the time they brought us for a tour around the school, there were less than 20 of us left. lol. BUT like i told reena, i aspire to study really hard and ace all my modules (which is quite insanely impossible), so i'll attend whatever shite that's attendable. haa. no more skipping of lectures like before. the course fee is damn ex, i'll make sure the stay in SIM is worth every cent of it. lol.
most of the students graduated with a diploma in SIM, and they already knew one another for like a year and a half, which leaves the other half (i'm assuming all turned up for orientation) of us hanging in midair. ree & i were glad to find 3 nypians in the same course, but being our nonchalant selves, we failed to strike up a conversation with them.
and then we had to bring home this thickass file which consisted of the whole semester's notes for the 4 modules which you can imagine how outrageously thick and heavy it is, but we didnt pretty much have a choice lar.
oh, and they have made SIM a smoke-free campus from jan 2006. prior to that, students can literally come out of the lecture hall and start fagging as much as they want
in the campus. how cool is that?
i'm kinda excited about being a student all over again (can you tell?). yet i'm relatively worried about what's in store for me :/
need to look for a part-time job once the schedule is more or less settled.
