the adventures of simsim
it has been one helluva hectic yet adventurous weekend. a weekend that started a tad too soon on thursday evening.

gotham penthouse for bh2005. well i have to admit the contestants werent as horrific as i thought of them to be, but still.. like everyone else, "it's more like femme quest 2005". the music was only mediocre, and the place was packed, (like get-your-smelly-hair-off-my-face packed), and it really didnt help that i felt nauseous 15 minutes after stepping into that place. BUT, rebecca was there and man was she hot! [gasp]

went to register myself at sim with ree on friday afternoon. met up with joy in the evening to get stuff for gee & bh. and then, that's when the real nightmare began. gee rented a toyota corolla for me over the weekend. car! yay!! (not). it's was a SB series - manual, cause i insisted on one. i cant, and dunno how to drive an auto car cause i'll tend to depress the brake with my left leg. i feel so weird to not utilise the left leg. yah newae, i nearly fainted when we went to pick it up. the true meaning behind value for money.
so i dropped joy off at bh's place and then drove ard amk to test out the SBT (i think it's SBT lar). then we dropped gee's mum home (she got the car for us at $50 a day) and picked up the dogs. brought them to punggol park and ecp.

a cloudy saturday morning obviously hindered the plan to tan (that rhymes!) and thus i decided to risk gee & my lives to drive to shenton way mph to collect my harry potter book. i think we spent like 15 mins trying to get around the place. the true meaning of so near yet so far. it was still damn early and i decided to push my luck (and risk our lives) further by going to little india. i was so damn stressed-out and had a couple of hiccups here and there and when i finally got to the parking lot at lil india, i broke down.
yes u read me, i cried. firstly because fucking SBT was infested with ants. and they were attacking on my beehoon and swissroll!! and also because i am sucha lousy driver; i truly suck. okay newae, we went to bishan at night and i almost got head-on with a lorry. my gawd, i was scared shitless. then we had problems with the cashcard and jammed up the entire carpark. and everyone REFUSED to lend us their cashcards. thanks. the helpful side of fellow citizens in times of adversities. nice.

brought the dogs to ecp again yesterday. i think ecp is the only place that i am confident of driving to & fro. and the only place that i really know how to go w/o gee giving wrong instructions at the wrong time causing my perilous moves on the roads.

thank you for being so patient (at times only) and for everything you've done. like driving me home illegally, eating the big cake (a private joke), renting the car just to build up my road experience, running around like mad to beg for cashcard when i gave up and refuse to do anything but get pissed off in the car, attempting to reverse the car at a tight dead end when i wanted to cry again (driving drives me nuts!), and many many more. thank you baby.
