The Restaurant in a Village
the above is a crappy marche wanna-be restaurant.
everything you see in there is the equivalent of marche. from the ambience to the billing system to the infamous cow to the rosti to the cashier to the silly but pardonable music,
everything.
this was what infuriated me the most:
sis: hey is it a subsidiary of marche?
cashier: oh no! we're not at all related to marche. you know, it's just that the concept is rather similar.
excuse me?!
can i slap you?
rather similar concept you say?
it's exactly the same can?!
i'm most appalled. by the act and even more so, the justification for it.
fyi, it's located at the basement of china square central.
