HDFC Signing Ceremony at The Fullerton this morning. Was rendering my multi-tasking service by facilitating at the reception area and flaunting my amateur photographic skills during the signing. Natexis was emphasising so much on cutting costs that they decided to forgo hiring a professional. So, being the usual
bao-gao-liao woman, i had no choice but to put up with it. It wasnt that bad anyway. Except that during the group photo, the battery died and i had to pretend i was snapping even though the screen went blank and said "Warning! Battery Exhausted". Damn hilarious.
Had lunch by myself at Mc Donald's and if it wasnt distressing enough, mom called and said my uncle fainted and was hospitalised. I was trying so hard to hold back the tears while attempting to swallow my chicken mc nuggets. I hope he's okay. Think summin's not right with his heart. Many occasions he almost 'left' in the midst of his sleep. He's sucha nice uncle. Just last Saturday, he called and cracked a joke which got me rolling. Though i cant exactly remember this, but mom said that when i was really young, he and my auntie would bring me out every weekend. I mean, it is only natural since i was sucha fat and cute ass. He'll be fine. Being the usual superstitious ah soh, and as much as i want to visit him, mom forbids - cos im wearing black & white today. *Sighs
It's Gee's first day of work and i was supposed to meet her for lunch, or so she thought, but everything just went against me and screwed up.
After the awful lunch, i decided to try my luck on the korean shop that Lia, Gina, Stacy and I used to frequent 4 years back. Guess what? It's still there!! Depressing thing is that they no longer sell those idolic magazines that we used to share and cut out pics of our fav korean guys. HAHA. Looking back, i wonder how many hundreds of dollars we could have saved. Tsk tsk. So i ended up getting some snacks instead. Nearly gotten Shinhwa's album. Oh, i heard they'll be in Singapore! I wanna go see them!!!!
